GrAdUaTiOn DaY!
Our last lesson: things learnt are meant to be applied...
Graduation Speech/ Valediction
Hi everyone, I am hogging the blog entry for today as it is the GRADUATION DAY. Let's recap n reminisce the memorable times we spent together. It's being 2 years since we met and knew each other. We became friends from classmates, or just acquaintances.
As Marcus Tullis Cicero has said, "life is nothing without friendship".
From day 1 in 3S2, we first foot into the foreign classroom in the opposite block. It was definitely intimidating. There was a huge and enormous man, Wei Kiat planted at the back of the classroom, practically blocking the back door. As far as I know, there isn't any days when I am earlier than him. He is always the early bird and enthu pupil. During the sec 3 year-end holidaes, Jun Noob made a death-threatening decision. He wanted titanium in his body! OMG, I thought. For earthing purpose? I'm sure everyone understands n will thank him for not havin to climb up 3 floors to the intended 4E2 class.
Playin captains' ball was our love n passion. Almost 80% of P.E was us involved in the stinky n tough activity. Despite so, we still LOVE it. Remember Sharon and Claudia handsome catches? I won't forget them. We also played a 'friendly' volleyball match with a sec 5 class. When Mdm Yee asked for 12 players, very few volunteered. She said it doesn't matter if we lose. But I thought otherwise. I felt that it was a display of violence. "It's a matter of life and death," said Kai Xin. I totally agree. Hiang Wee was so funny when he tried to headbutt or kicked the ball. Today, we also played against 4E3, although it was the first few times with the class, it was unforgettable, especially with Leon's flying-shoe kick, which triggered a 8.0 guffaw-quake on the laughter scale. LoL.
Lessons were a fun, yet a pain in the, brain. From 6 subjects in Sec 2 to 8, many struggled the great jump. Then, there was Xian Qin, who later dropped pure Geography and left us to 4E6.
Remember Mr Lee SC, the joker who often says about the 'XY'. He who teaches us Physics through funny and easy examples, such as Jay Chou's attraction for static electricity will always be the most amusing teacher to me, although he can be strict at times. Ms Cheong and the Monas never fail to brighten our day. She is never afraid to voice out her thoughts and try daring actions. That's her probably her greatest charisma in making us remember her forever, which even Alvin agrees. Mrs Tai's enjoyable English lesson always allows more than enough time to chat and work. Mr Yeo WT who showers us with his overflowing love and concern. From time to time, he would fish out a blue checkered handkerchief to wipe off the perspiration on his forehead. Though many people may not like Mr Lee BK, his teaching methods are definitely helpful and useful. Ms Li JY is caring and explains everything that we don't understand. Mrs Yip is always so cute and cheerful. I guess that she treats us more like Primary students than Secondary students. Ms Joyce Lim is constantly worried about us and often share some inspirational stories to motivate us. Ms Chan Bijun, is not only known for her poor maths, but is also known for her sense of clothing, something that I can't describe. All teachers are unique, but they have something in common. They love and care for us. So, let's not forget their effort and time spent in teaching us. Thank Yousssssssss!
Recently, to be more specific, today, I learnt about the illustrious Daniel's and Kai Xin's achievements. Daniel achieved great success by representing the nation in an international Robotics Olympiad and Kai Xin was chosen to train for the YOG in 2010! Congrats to both warriors! You have done us proud!
Like a roller coaster, life has its ups n downs.
We may have faced obstacles along the way, fell down and we need to pick ourselves up.
For those who did not perform up to your expectations, you really have to read up, buck up and never give up. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder if you think that you have done well. Keep it up and continue to strive for excellence! Afterall, that's the Fuhua motto.
"Anything that doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."-----Ms Joyce Lim
Now, there is only 17 days to the big 'O'. That's definitely not a lot, just 1,468,800 secs. A big number to Reading this long crap had minused about secs. How much do you have left? Off the computer and totally isolate yourself from it. Just concentrate on the revision and you will find an unexpected gift- the desire and momentum to study.
Lastly, I wish that everyone a happy graduation day and study with all might, towards your desired targets, 8A1s. And yes, we will all emerge victorious, like Mr Wong L.S.
Thank you.

ClAsS dEcO
Yea!!! We finally managed to complete the class deco, but not really on time.
The judges came in when we were still struggling to paste some more blues to occupy the sea and tearing away the newspaper.
But they didn't say much. I think it should be ok.
But since it was a little plain, we dug out our 4E2 mascot... The Big Brown Bear!!!
Together with Su En and Wei Jie, both 4E2's model, they took a photo.
Now we hope that our "last minute work" will help us win something.
Thanks for everyone that helped!!! :)
By the way, there will be a day to wear ethnic costumes next week.
Everyone, please wear. It can be anything, from any race and religion.
It is definitely not restricted to only Chinese Cheongsam, Malay kebaya and Indian costume.
Popular Japanese Kimono are also permitted.
Just don't say that you are not wearing. :)
Just for your info, there are 100 days left to 'O' levels.

These are the photos we took during the sentosa trip yesterday... It was real fun and of course, tiring... Hope that more ppl will come for our next outing... Enjoy the photos!!!
The sun is setting... Woah, real nice...
Khay Cheng is wet, all thanks to zijian...
Haha, do you call this 'chickens in the soup'?
Haha, meiling and suen started this.. They said by burying your legs in the sand will make them smother... Believe it or not, everyone tried (execpt ken)... This is the exceptionally big and high one made by hiang wee.. Maybe his legs are very smooth now?
Haha, wanted to make a sand castle... But made a cake instead... Hooray 4e2 09!!!
Playin monkey in the water...
Woh! The battle against the sexes!!! Haha, playin volley bolley...
Our campsite!!!
Darren approaching some ppl to sell his extra ticket... Maybe darren didnt look serious and gives the impression of him being a trickster... So the ppl rejected him....
Apparently we looked like uncles and aunties buying baskets of groceries... It's not cheap kay, I think it's around $70+++...
By the way, we bought a volley ball, so we can play durin other outings and if want, lend it to other classes and then collect money from them.. It's khay cheng's idea...
Funi? We are trying to fit our butts in the picnic mat... fancy us sitting on the floor in Giant... I wanted to take a photo, but some turned their heads away, like hiang wee, khay cheng and meiling... Ken and zijian worse still, one buried his face, the other escaped... Among the 8, onli 3 smiled at the camera... Are cameras reali that scary?
sEnToSa
Yoyi yoyi yo!!!
Todae's outing was really veri fun and of course adventurous. It's a pity if you cant come. Let me share what happened todae...
We first arrived at our meeting place at jurong east interchange and took a bus (either 97 or 197, I cant exactly remember). On the bus we chatted non-stop about lame things... like how long one's toes (the second one) can determine your future spouse's wealth and how many children you are going to hav...
Upon arriving at VIVO, we went to Giant to buy groceries! haha, Guin suggested to have picnic there and then go search for some ang mohs (must be handsome de). Bought some ham, lettuce, which zijian says is cabbage, and cheese... it reali is a healthy meal... Then we looked for some picnic mats and a volley ball!!! haha, i took some pictures and will share it on the next post. It's reali funi cos the volley ball was rather soft and khay cheng called the boys to pump it from the bicycle accessories corner.. It's like using unopened items... Please do not try this at home or any other places.
Finally we are goin to sentosa!
After we bought the tickets, i also dunt noe how, darren got another extra. We had to sell the ticket and, by the way, it cost $3. . We thought it seemed easy, but all the people he approached rejected him. Oh, so sad... Until guin and meiling went up to a father along with his daughter, then it was finally over. I guess it is either darren being too conny (dunt noe if there is such a word) and the people thinks he might trick them, or the girls are too pretty to reject... Hai, what a realistic world...
Yea! Finally the playing part!!! We ate the healthy meal under 2 coconut trees and it was rather shady and cooling. But later when we started to play, the weather became hotter. We played volley ball with lots of blunder as the ball keeps going to the other court, and the people have to keep throwing it back to us.. I think it's like the first few times we played it, so basically, when one side serves the ball, the other collects (or fetch , you call it). So the game becomes much lamer...
We played like for 3 to 4hrs under the scorching sun, so what do you expect.. shades of black and shades of red... sounds like a different type of dalmations...
We also played monkey in the water... Haha, that was reali wet.. In general, there was 2 casualties, namely darren and zijian. Both were victims of the gang that went, and ended up totally soaked (by seawater, especially salty de and by shits of mud).. Luckily one knew to swim and the other was tall and wont face drowning in the 'deep' waters..
To summarise, the trip was reali fun and enjoying. When about to leave, eveyone felt reluctant and of course stinky, sticky and sickly... Feels like sleeping now...
I will try to upload the photos tmr... now gotta sleep or I willbe late for tmr's lesson...
