GrAdUaTiOn DaY!

Our last lesson: things learnt are meant to be applied...

Graduation Speech/ Valediction

Hi everyone, I am hogging the blog entry for today as it is the GRADUATION DAY. Let's recap n reminisce the memorable times we spent together. It's being 2 years since we met and knew each other. We became friends from classmates, or just acquaintances.
As Marcus Tullis Cicero has said, "life is nothing without friendship".

From day 1 in 3S2, we first foot into the foreign classroom in the opposite block. It was definitely intimidating. There was a huge and enormous man, Wei Kiat planted at the back of the classroom, practically blocking the back door. As far as I know, there isn't any days when I am earlier than him. He is always the early bird and enthu pupil. During the sec 3 year-end holidaes, Jun Noob made a death-threatening decision. He wanted titanium in his body! OMG, I thought. For earthing purpose? I'm sure everyone understands n will thank him for not havin to climb up 3 floors to the intended 4E2 class.

Playin captains' ball was our love n passion. Almost 80% of P.E was us involved in the stinky n tough activity. Despite so, we still LOVE it. Remember Sharon and Claudia handsome catches? I won't forget them. We also played a 'friendly' volleyball match with a sec 5 class. When Mdm Yee asked for 12 players, very few volunteered. She said it doesn't matter if we lose. But I thought otherwise. I felt that it was a display of violence. "It's a matter of life and death," said Kai Xin. I totally agree. Hiang Wee was so funny when he tried to headbutt or kicked the ball. Today, we also played against 4E3, although it was the first few times with the class, it was unforgettable, especially with Leon's flying-shoe kick, which triggered a 8.0 guffaw-quake on the laughter scale. LoL.

Lessons were a fun, yet a pain in the, brain. From 6 subjects in Sec 2 to 8, many struggled the great jump. Then, there was Xian Qin, who later dropped pure Geography and left us to 4E6.

Remember Mr Lee SC, the joker who often says about the 'XY'. He who teaches us Physics through funny and easy examples, such as Jay Chou's attraction for static electricity will always be the most amusing teacher to me, although he can be strict at times. Ms Cheong and the Monas never fail to brighten our day. She is never afraid to voice out her thoughts and try daring actions. That's her probably her greatest charisma in making us remember her forever, which even Alvin agrees. Mrs Tai's enjoyable English lesson always allows more than enough time to chat and work. Mr Yeo WT who showers us with his overflowing love and concern. From time to time, he would fish out a blue checkered handkerchief to wipe off the perspiration on his forehead. Though many people may not like Mr Lee BK, his teaching methods are definitely helpful and useful. Ms Li JY is caring and explains everything that we don't understand. Mrs Yip is always so cute and cheerful. I guess that she treats us more like Primary students than Secondary students. Ms Joyce Lim is constantly worried about us and often share some inspirational stories to motivate us. Ms Chan Bijun, is not only known for her poor maths, but is also known for her sense of clothing, something that I can't describe. All teachers are unique, but they have something in common. They love and care for us. So, let's not forget their effort and time spent in teaching us. Thank Yousssssssss!

Recently, to be more specific, today, I learnt about the illustrious Daniel's and Kai Xin's achievements. Daniel achieved great success by representing the nation in an international Robotics Olympiad and Kai Xin was chosen to train for the YOG in 2010! Congrats to both warriors! You have done us proud!

Like a roller coaster, life has its ups n downs.
We may have faced obstacles along the way, fell down and we need to pick ourselves up.
For those who did not perform up to your expectations, you really have to read up, buck up and never give up. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder if you think that you have done well. Keep it up and continue to strive for excellence! Afterall, that's the Fuhua motto.
"Anything that doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."-----Ms Joyce Lim

Now, there is only 17 days to the big 'O'. That's definitely not a lot, just 1,468,800 secs. A big number to Reading this long crap had minused about secs. How much do you have left? Off the computer and totally isolate yourself from it. Just concentrate on the revision and you will find an unexpected gift- the desire and momentum to study.

Lastly, I wish that everyone a happy graduation day and study with all might, towards your desired targets, 8A1s. And yes, we will all emerge victorious, like Mr Wong L.S.

Thank you.
